Kiwanis Club of Hendersonville

Welcome to Kiwanis Club of Hendersonville! Chartered in 1921, our members represent a cross range of ages, genders, occupations, backgrounds and interests. We are all passionate about making our community and the world a better place for children so they can thrive. We are devoted to serving the children in Henderson County and all across the country and worldwide through unique and innovative service projects and fundraising initiatives.

There is much more that Kiwanis Club of Hendersonville does to touch the lives of local children and youth. Every day a Kiwanian volunteers to improve the world one child and one community at a time. We welcome new members who share our zeal and passion for community service.

We invite you to join us for an upcoming lunch meeting, or Service First Committee Meeting, to learn more about our organization and to let us learn more about you!

Our lunch meetings take place the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 12 noon at Grace Lutheran Church, located at 1245 6th Avenue West, Hendersonville, NC 28791. A catered hot lunch is available for $20 and is served starting at 11:45 am. Our meeting generally concludes by 1 pm.

Our Service First Committee meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 5:30 pm at local breweries and restaurants when the committee is not performing hands-on service at one our local nonprofit agencies. The evening club is perfect for those who may not be able to get away from work for a lunch meeting or who prefer a more casual, interactive club meeting. Email the SFC chair to learn our next meeting time and place.
